Mainland Medical Center offers a Community Outreach Program for women. The program is available to answer questions and assist with information needed throughout your pregnancy. A community outreach specialist can assist you with: Understanding Medicaid & CHIP Perinatal Programs Explaining how Medicaid can be secondary to Private Insurance if eligible Assisting  with documents needed to apply for Medicaid & CHIP Perinatal Providing information how & where to apply for Medicad & CHIP Perinatal Informing about Dr.’s & Clinics that take Medicaid, CHIP Perinatal & Private Insurance Explaining what WIC is and where to apply Referring to local Agencies and Resources

The staff at the Women’s Center Clinic specializes in providing care and education for pregnant women and their families.  We are a compassionate group of health professionals committed to a safe and satisfying prenatal and early parenting experience.  Our goal is to provide comprehensive, family-centered prenatal care to low-risk women who plan to have their babies at Mainland Medical Center.  Care is provided mainly by nurse practitioners and/or nurse-midwives with obstetricians available, if necessary.  All births are attended by an obstetrician.   Services are provided in English and Spanish.  Our Mainland Medical Center Outreach staff assists patients with Medicaid and CHIP Perinatal applications as well as referrals for social services.

The Women’s Center Clinic is located next to the hospital in the Medical Office Building on the third floor.
